PRIPOL™ & PRIPLAST™
dimerized fatty acids and polyester polyols give printing ink resins a unique
combination of benefits such as universal adhesion and good pigment wetting.
ATLAS™ G Polyol Alkoxylated
building blocks offer the industry a combination of benefits such as: improved
occupational health properties of radiation curable monomers, Tg and polarity
variation to meet final product need.
Uniqema offers a variety of high performing surfactants providing
high emulsion and dispersion stability in printing inks.
Uniqema’s fatty acid amides give printing inks excellent blocking
resistance, and therefore improve processing efficiency.
Products & technology
These products are a high performance building block choice for
formulators of polyurethane resins. They result in flexibility, resistance to
hydrolytic attack, good temperature and oxidative stability and good adhesion to
non-polar substrates:
- PRIPOL C36 dimer
acids. Important constituents of polyamide ink resins used in
the formulation of flexographic and gravure inks for
applications such as flexible packaging.
- PRIPOL C36 dimer acids and dimer diol can also be used as resin
building blocks (specialty monomers) and modifying agents for polyester and
epoxy resins.
- PRIPLAST C36 dimer based polyester
polyols
- PRIFAC™ - a wide range of fatty acids for alkyd &
polyester resins offering good product consistency, low yellowing and good
drying.
- PRICERINE™ - glycerine in several purity grades with
consistent quality for formulation of alkyd and polyester resins.
- PRIACETIN™ - glycerol triacetate as plasticizer in
offset inks giving minimal diffusion into cylinder materials
- ATLAS™ G - Polyol Alkoxylated building blocks for
radiation curing.
- ZEPHRYM™ - dispersing agents for waterborne pigment
dispersions providing excellent pigment loading and colour development.
- HYPERMER™, MAXEMUL™, SPAN™, TWEEN™ - specialty
non-ionic and anionic surface active agents, including polymerics and reactives.
These products are used as emulsifiers, dispersants, wetters, defoamers, and for
rheology control.
- UNISLIP™ - fatty acid amides as dispersants in offset
inks and antiblocking additives in flexographic inks.
